On the front flyleaf the signature “Will: Hamilton” appears twice. The date Febr 1650 is in a different ink, and has been amended in the same ink as the top signature to read “Febr 26 1650 ending the 29 of Dece[mbe]r 1650.” Hamilton was minister at Glassford. The verso of the following leaf lists the texts of the seventeen sermons with the page numbers on which they begin. A later hand has added places and dates along with identifying historical events with which some of the dates are associated.
