Contents Note

pp. 1-166 contain letters, speeches, and testimonies of Covenanters (see the table of contents in the front). Another hand has added brief notes on sermons following these texts. The writer seems to have written the headings, then left space to transcribe sermon notes later. Sometimes too much space has been left and at others too little, so that the writer has had to squeeze in the final lines. Where the preacher is not recorded, a space has been left as though in hopes of recalling the name at a later date.

Material Features

Leather-bound volume with one functioning and one broken clasp. The sermon notes are neatly written.
