Contents Note

Volume of 17 unpublished sermons. On the flyleaf is the inscription: "ex codicibus Thomae Jones, 1690". The Huntington Catalogue states that these sermons seem to have been copied from Thomas Jones' manuscripts in 1690 by a clergyman preaching in Coleraine in Northern Ireland. On the last leaf there are dates for "preaching at Coleraine" by the copyist and the inscription "Mr Boyd of Loghgells".

On the first leaf is an inscription, "Blessed Lord, who hast caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our Learning, grant that we may in sch wise hear them, marke, learn & inwardly digest them that by patience & comfort of they holy word we may ever hold fast the blessed hopes of everlasting life wch thou hast given up in our Saviour Jesu X". Below this, in another pen is the beginning of the Lord's Prayer.
