Contents Note

This manuscript volume contains sermons by 'Mr Milner' and 'Mr Kay ye Lecturer with Mr Sykes & others occasionally from 1664 to 1666'. It is possible that 'Mr Milner' is John Milner (1628-1703), curate of St John the Evangelist at Leeds, as some of the sermons within this manuscript volume were preached at Leeds. Moreover, many of the preachers (e.g. Samuel Stable and Robert Todd) were based in Yorkshire. The manuscript is written in shorthand.
