Notes taken by the adolescent John Pynchon on George Moxon's sermons in Springfield, Massachusetts in March - April 1640. The notes are in John's short writing, using his own cypher with symbols for more than 120 words, alongside commonly used abbreviations.
80 pp. paper bound. Four sheets of the original notes were turned over before the booklet was bound, disturbing the original order, with the result that some pages cannot be read sequentially. This manuscript has been fully digitised. There is a full-text transcription of these notes prepared by David M. Powers (see link).
