A book containing extracts from several printed religious works. On the inner flyleaf is a copy of George Herbert's "Sunday", titled "The Priveledge of Injoyining Sabbath, on of our English Poets doth no less piously then ingeniously set forth". Bufton has written his own short poem responding to this verse. As well as the sermons, this book includes "Many passages and storyes taken out of a Book intitled, Primitive Christianity written by Doctor Cave" (24 ff.); "An Epistle Conerning the tryall & choice of ye true religion written by Bishop Hall, with a few other passages all taken out of the great Volume of his Works In Seven Leaves"; "Some things taken out of a Treatise Intitled, the Conversion of a sinner" (10 ff.); "Some things taken out of a treatise Intitled the day of Grace" (9 ff.) both by Nathaniel Vincent.
