Other Note
Chetham's Library online catalogue attributes this volume to Matthew Henry. However, Andrew Cambers (2007) attributes this manuscript to his father, Philip. The present cataloguer agrees with Cambers on the basis of the hand in which the volume is written. This volume is also cited in Paula McQuade, Catechisms and Women's Writing in Seventeenth-Century England (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2017).
