Simmons published two sermons that were preached in 1708: 1) A Sermon Preach'd before the Societies for Reformation of Manners, at Salters-Hall, Octob. the 4th, 1708 (London, 1708); and 2) The Conqueror Crown'd. a Funeral Sermon on Occasion of the Death of the Late Reverend and Learned Divine, Mr. Edward Veel. Who Departed This Life June the 6th, 1708. in the LXXVI'th Year of His Age. Preach'd at St. John Wapping, June the 13th, 1708 (London, 1708). It is possible that one of these is the sermon attended by Glenister.
