Preachings
1664-03-07 (old) - England - Funeral Uncertain whether date is Old or New Style. Most manuscripts during this period use Old Style, however.
Additional Material

Preceded by a text describing Weaver's life by her brother-in-law, John Weaver, addressed to "Madame Gough" (Judith Weaver's sister), which ends with a poem describing Judith Weaver's conversion, largely owing to the preaching of "Mr. Roe" at Westminster Abbey.

Description

Written in a neat hand. Preached at the funeral of Judith Weaver.

Source of Data

Jeanne Shami

Other Note

Preacher and precise location unknown. The manuscript is not foliated, so contemporary page numbers are used here. It is possible that, despite his ejection in 1662, John Weaver preached Judith's funeral sermon.
