Exegesis of this text. There is a notation in the upper left-hand margin: "Inded Saturday ye 20th of July 1700 at Mr. Bristeed." It is unclear what Prichard is saying, but perhaps these notes were composed by or with Mr. Bristeed in preparation for a sermon to be preached the following day. It is uncertain whether Prichard or Bristeed is the preacher.
