Description

The occasion ('Queenes daye. 1588 before the Queen') and the Biblical verse are written at the top of p. 11. This sermon features marginalia in a different hand in English and Latin (e.g. 'An anarchy', p. 11; 'instead of an Angell have a Devill', p. 14). There are also miscellaneous theological notes in Latin, written upside-down in another hand, on p. 18 ('De vocatione instrumento eius & hono 2 Thes. 2.13.14').
