Description
This is a transcription of miscellaneous sermon notes. The following has been written on the second half of the first leaf: ‘what follows taken out of the Dr owne notes’. It is difficult to distinguish one set of sermon notes from another.
Other Note
Written, apparently, in the hand of John Warr senior or junior. Both men were used as scribes by Robert Boyle. (See Michael Hunter, ed., Letters and Papers of Robert Boyle: A Guide to the Manuscripts and Microfilm (Bethseda, MD: University of Publications of America, 1992), p. xxxii.) Written in a hasty, italic hand. There is some use of Latin and Greek. The scribe has underlined various biblical citations. There are also some citations of Church Fathers. There are very few corrections.
