There is a commemorative poem on f. 79r. This is followed by a section entitled 'In Obitum Domini Richardi Lutheri de Kelvedon [...] Armigeri; Qui Obiit Vicessimo Octauo Die Februarii Anno Domini i638 AEtatis suae 88' (ff. 79v-80v). On f. 80v, there is an acrostic on 'Richard Luther'. The sermon is found at ff. 81r-87r. Finally, there is another commemorative poem on f. 87v.
The full title of the sermon is as follows: 'The True Coppie of the Sermon preached at Kelvedon Parish in the County of Essex the 2d day of March. i638. By Mr Lauender, at the Buryall of Richard Luther Esqu. Aged 88 yeeres. This Coppy was giuen to me at my earnest Request by the s[ai]d Mr Lauender the 29th of March. i.6.3.9'. It is uncertain as to whether this 'Coppie' is autograph or written by a scribe. There are some corrections in a different hand.
