Report of Two Missing Sermons

A slip of paper bound in the manuscript in a contemporary hand (possibly the hand of the scribe) reads "Two Sermons are here wanting which is the Reason of leaving this Space to insert them, if they maybe mett with. The Contents of the Two Sermons are the Arguments to prove it to be the Duty of every Disciple of Christ that takes Care of his owne Edificacion and Salvacion to joyne himselfe unto some particular Church wherein the Ordinances of the Gospel are administred, From the Promise of Christ to meet Men in those Assemblyes with this especial Presence; And that it is the only Way that we have visibly to submitt our selves under the Government of Christ in the World."
