Note on the reverse of the flyleaf states: "An Assemblage of old MSS Sermons, in French, Evidently were preached or written by some of the French Refugee Clergy in London Persecuted at the Time, Ranging in Date from 1665 to --". Manuscript contains undated fragments at f. 9r-10v; f. 17r-18v (beginning missing); f. 31r-32v (beginning missing); f. 39r-40v (beginning missing); f. 45r-46v; f. 53r (last page only); f. 61r-62r (beginning missing); f. 75r (last page only). 53v-54v and 75v-76v are blank.

Material Features

Repaired 1984, with support boards retained in box (h. 26 cm; w. 18 cm).

Wide left hand margin, few marginal notes, hard to read/damaged in places but mostly legible.

The sermons were apparently delivered in London, but the precise location or locations are not recorded. The preacher is not identified.
