Notes of sermons
Notes upon in sermons, largely in English. Only one date appears within this section, i.e. '1637' is indicated on f. 132v. In addition to Thomas Holborough, other preachers include Dr Thomas Goade and Mr 'Rauens' (possibly Jeremiah Ravens, a contemporary of Holborough).

The notetaker (thought to be Robert Cawdray) has filled the volume with quotations, divided into small boxes, from sermons preached by various preachers. The preachers named include Henry Robinson, Provost of Queens College; Richard Kilby; Giles Tomson (later Bishop of Gloucester); Adam Hill; Edward Hutchins; William Tyndal; Thomas Dorman; and Leonard Wright.
Report of a Funeral Sermon for George Abbot (1673)
Report at the end of a volume of sermons by Mr. Francis Sourton taken down and copied by Richard Northcote. The passage reads "The end of all ye Sermons Mr. Sourton preached by vertue of ye Kings Indulgence in ye Schoole house of Honiton. unless be A funerall Sermon whicih for being preached in ye eveninge could not be taken. Itt was for honest Georg Abbot."
