Presumed to be sermon notes, written on the reverse of another sermon fragment in a different hand.

A fragment written in a clear round hand. Location and place of preaching is not given. Other notes have been written in reverse in a smaller hand.

The manuscript has been dated by the present cataloguer according to Thacher's tenure as pastor of Milton, MA.

Fair copy of an extract from a sermon preached on 9 March 1689, in which William Cade defended the non-jurors who declined to take the oaths of obedience to William and Mary. This autograph extract was enclosed in a letter from Cade to William Sancroft, dated 15 July 1690.
