In Latin and English. These are brief notes of all the headings and key doctrines of the sermon. ‘Conciones habita in parochia de Hackney. Matutina, a Dno Hopkins’. ‘IV. Non. Sept. Die Dominica’. Preached on Sunday, 4 September 1660 in the morning by Hopkins. Date of 1660 is known because the whole manuscript is dated as such.
Sermon is headed: "The substance of a discourse had by Mr John Livingstone, in pulpit to his parish in Ancram foreseeing his separation from it, as it was taken from his mouth by the pen of a hearer on the 13 of October 1662 being the munday after the Communion and after another Minister had preached."
