Other note

Denman's name appears in BL Add MS 25037, in which he identifies himself as B.C.L. of St. John's College, Cambridge. This is quite possibly the John Doe (also Low) Denman admitted to Trinity College in 1831. He migrated to St John's College in 1833, from which he graduated LL.B. (1845) and LL.D (1866). He was the author of "The Drama Vindicated" (1835) and a translation of the "Aeneid" (1857). He died 4 November, 1875.
