Other note

Date of birth unknown. Boreman's father, William Boreman (c.1564-1646), served in royal households under three consecutive monarchs. Robert Boreman entered Trinity College, Cambridge, in 1627. He earned three degrees there: BA (1632), MA (1635), and BD (1643). From 1633, he was a fellow of Trinity. He was ordained as a priest in 1638. After being ejected by Parliamentary visitors, Boreman apparently stayed in the Cambridge area throughout the 1650s. He regained his fellowship at Trinity in 1660 and was created DD. Later that year, he became rector of Blisworth, Northamptonshire. He was St Giles-in-the-Fields, London, from 1663 until his death on 15 November 1675.
