Exposition on the Septuagint in Latin, Greek and Hebrew by Edward Hyde dated 1630 and notations of sermons heard by his mother Lady Barbara Hyde (1574-1641) dated between 1636-40. Only the preacher's name and the bible text are noted in most entries.

Limp vellum covers with gold ruled lines. 36 leaves. 137 x 77 x 7.

Provenance

Left to Robert Boreman with the rest of Edward Hyde's notebooks. Boreman then passed them to Thomas Plume together with Boreman's own papers.

Acquisition

Left by Thomas Plume to his library in Maldon in 1704.
