The second of two volumes of miscellaneous papers belonging to Richard Roach, who was a fellow of St John's College, Oxford, and rector of Hackney, Middlesex. A large portion of the volumes is written in a very fragmentary and rough way upon odd scraps of paper. Two sections of notes, labelled ‘Subjects & Heads for Sermons’ ff. 199r-257v and then ‘For Sermons’ ff. 258r-307r but other documents such as letters are interspersed. There is nothing much to comment on. The sermon notes are very rough and fragmentary and nearly all folios lack any sort of heading.
