The manuscript comprises prayers and a sermon by John Carter (1594/5-1655). The final nine leaves of the volume seem to comprise notes on the Psalms as opposed to a full sermon. The manuscript has been dated by the present cataloguer according to its handwriting and its place within the Egerton Family Papers.
Quarto. Limp vellum binding, with the remains of two green ties.
