This presentation volume contains the rehearsal sermon by Ralph Barlow, delivered in 1605, in addition to Barlow's summaries of sermons by other preachers. There is a preceding dedicatory epistle '[t]o the R Honorable Thomas Lord Ellesmer and L. Chauncelor of England'. The epistle is signed 'R. Barlow'. It is not known whether the rehearsal sermon itself is autograph or written out by a scribe.
