Print Editions / Witnesses

This sermon (as well as the following sermon) appears to be an abridged version of Robert Bagnall, The Stewards Last Accovnt (1622; RSTC 1187), a collection of five sermons on Luke 16:1-2. Many paragraphs have been copied, almost verbatim, from this collection.

Description

A neat cursive hand is used throughout. The handwriting used throughout this sermon matches the annotation made by Richard Bagnall on f. 52v. See Pamela J. Willetts, Catalogue of Manuscripts in the Society of Antiquaries of London (Woodbridge: D. S. Brewer, 2000), p. 154.
