Description
Having laid down 'the nature, dignitie, necessitie and utilie of prayer in Generall' in the previous sermons, Palmer now comes to the Lord's Prayer. He explains that the words themselves contain three general parts: a preface; the petitions; and the conclusion. This sermon is concerned with the preface, 'Our Father which art in heauen'. Written in a cursive hand.
