Description
The sermon opens as follows: 'This Sentence of Scripture may be read originally in ye 2. Hab. 4. Spoken there to ye Jewes in their sad & low conditions. It is used by ye Apostle in 3 several places, though not in the same sence, or to ye same ends. A generall sentence may be accommodated to various & sundry uses; especially by him, who had ye mind of Xt, & was guided by ye Same Spirit of truth and infallibility.'
