Description

On back of the pamphlet (p.22) is noted “This funeral sermon was preached in Marsden chappel by J.W. an unworthy minister of the gospel upon the occasion of the death of John Woodhead lord (?) of Borrygreave who was aged 78 years & 5 days who dyed on Thursday being the 25 day of January and was buryed on Tuesday the 30th January 1704/5 The text was his own order. / This sermon was preached in Ealand Church May 29 1706 at the funeral of Michael Schofield
