1686-03-30 - 1686-05-30 (new) - British Isles - Occasion not identified Date of preaching is identified as the “30th of the 3rd month, 1686.” It is unclear whether these numbered months are Old or New Style, i.e. if the first month is March or January. To reflect both possibilities, the “Date Start” gives the 3rd month according to the New Style (March), and the “Date End” gives the 8th month according to the Old Style (May). Sermon may have been preached in Ireland or in England.
Description
On the later clause of the verse: "That they may be ashamed who falsely etc."
