Description

According to Harper, 7 September 1648 was 'a day of Thanksgiuen throughout the whole Kingdom, vnto Almightie God for ye ouerthrow of the Scotts Army [...]' (see p. 136). This sermon was written up neatly and in full from Harper's own notes taken at the sermon (see p. 141).
