Description

Includes brief notes, some very brief, for about 150 sermons, likely those heard by Sir Henry Yelverton. The notes usually include the Biblical text or at least the Bible book and chapter for the sermon. The notes occasionally give preaching information, such as the preacher or preaching location, but all of the notes are undated. A number of the sermons were preached by bishops, such as Richard Vaughan of Chester, and bishops of Durham, Salisbury and Ely. Other preachers are identified only by their last name, such as "Mr. Felton", "Mr. Moore" and "Doctor King", so are difficult to definitively identify.
