Several of the notebooks contain indexes to their contents are numbered by volume: 38-39 and 45-48. Written in a small, neat hand; unfoliated and unpaginated. No. 38 has damage that obscures some words, mostly along the edges and outer corners.

A small notebook with paper-mache binding. The binding remains but is substantially damaged, the back layers are detached and part is missing. The paper edging is very frayed, some pages are folded over and there are some tears but there is not any loss of text and sermons remain legible.

The MS runs in two directions, the front has been taken to be the side with the archive label on the inside cover. There are page numbers and sermon numbers, both of which are original to the MS, and a total of 385 pages.

This is a large leather-bound volume. The binding is fully preserved and the manuscript is in very good condition. The internal paper has no damage but there are some bad ink stains in places. There are page numbers which are original to the manuscript. The paper has been cut when bound and some of the original page numbers are partially obscured. The sermons form 841 pages in total.

This is a very small paper-bound notebook. The binding is preserved but is damaged and the manuscript is very delicate. The paper inside varies in size, suggesting that they contents were bound at a later date.
