Paper, 7 7/8 x 6 1/2 inches, vi + 64 leaves.

Paper, 9 5/8 x 7 1/8 inches, 192 leaves. Some of the sermons are written or corrected by Turner, and some are written in another hand.

Paper, 7 7/8 x 6 1/8 inches, 83 leaves. Composed of three manuscripts, the first two (ff. 3r-62v) written in the second half of the seventeenth century and the third (ff. 67r-82v) written in the early eighteenth century. Each of the three is written in a separate hand (but each of them is written in only a single hand).

Paper, quarto, 268 leaves. Written in Sancroft's hand which is small, close, and clear. "Lib. Chart. ," is written on the parchment cover. An old catalogue number, 311, is written on the back. Blank on ff. 244-265.

Paper, duodecimo, 82 leaves. Preaching information is written in abbreviations using Greek letters, many of which are difficult to decipher. These include Beta-lambda-omicron-xi (or just Beta-lambda) for Bloxholm, Tau-iota-mu-beta for Timberland, etc.

Paper, 10 1/4 x 7 3/4 inches, 90 leaves. Corrections in Gandy's hand and another hand, including slips interleaved, pasted in, etc. "Dr. Goodall" is written on f. 89 in eighteenth-century handwriting.

Paper, 9 7/8 x 7 3/8 inches, 30 leaves.

Paper, 9 7/8 x 6 3/4 inches, 121 leaves. A beautiful, slim volume written in clear italic in late-seventeenth-century handwriting.

Paper, 8 3/8 x 6 1/2 inches, 408 leaves.

Paper, 6 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches, 47 leaves. Many leaves are damaged and barely legible, especially in the preface. The sermon proper is more legible.

Paper, i + 141 leaves, 6 1/3 x 4 1/4 inches. Blank on ff. 13-54, 65r-v, 71r-v, 82r-v, 91v-93v, 109r-117r.

Paper, vi + 222 leaves, 6 3/8 x 4 1/4 inches. Marked "vii" (and MS. Rawl. E. 76 is marked "viii") and contains pp. 490-526 from a larger collection. There are catchwords at the bottom of every page. The volume is densely packed, and it is difficult to distinguish between sermons.

Paper, iii + 76 leaves, 8 x 6 1/4 inches.

Paper, 54 leaves, 8 x 5 1/4 inches. A confusing manuscript: after f. 7v, at least 6 leaves appear to have been cut out, so it is not clear whether the sermon ending on f. 7v is complete. However, there are numbers continuous with the sermon’s contemporary pagination on the stubs of the leaves. (Numbers 12 through 16 are visible, at least in part.)

xxviii + 914 pages. Bound in vellum wrapper. Boothby has put subheadings in the margin, apparently to summarize the point of the sermon that he has cited under the general heading .

On paper

The notebook is written in a large legible hand, which Macray's catalogue of Rawlinson D manuscripts identifies as Rawlinson's.

The sermon is a fair copy with minimal corrections and no marginal annotations.
