The two manuscripts sermons are in an elegant 18th-century hand and written only on the rectos of the pages. The two sermons have separate title pages with descriptive details.

4to.pp.191. The volume is under repair, but retains two clasps from its original binding. The front board has become separated. Unlike some earlier volumes this one is paginated and does not contain heads describing the sermons' contents.

The volume is handsomely written, with title pages painted on vellum with symbolic effigies, etc. The volume has ff. 72, of which ff. 1-3, 70-72 are blank. The pages are ruled with red borders; the right-hand margin is closely cropped.

The front board has become detached from the manuscript. Otherwise, the manuscript is in very good condition and written in a clear, neat hand.

The papers in this collection are all loose, although gathered in paper sheets in bundles of manageable size. The funeral sermon is listed as item 45 in this collection.

Individual items, including sermons, are sometimes but not always foliated or paginated.

The sermon is unbound and written on small paper in a clear hand.

The manuscript itself is in fair shape. Its top board has come loose and is hanging by one thread. At the beginning of the volume is a list of biblical texts and dates preached. Sarah's index in this manuscript uses New Style dating, but Old Style dates have been entered for consistency with other entries.

Vellum bound notebook. 4to. ff.[i],180,[5]. Some leaves blank and a few have been cut out. Parratt’s signature is on the flyleaf, with the date 1702.

The original calf binding is dry and frayed. On the cover is written "John Glenister December 24 1707." The manuscript is unfoliated and unpaginated, making description of the items difficult.

The sermon is bound in marbled paper from the early late 17th or early 18th century.

ff.1-22, of which ff.1, 19b-22 are blank. Paged 1-33(+2).

The volume is bound in calf, and written in the same neat 17th-century handwriting, beginning at both ends with the mid part blank. ff.71, of which 2-3, 11v, 17v, 23v, 27v-55r, 65r are blank. A number of leaves have long been cut out between the present ff.3-4.
