Octavo in vellum covers, tightly bound. 42 pages. Notes by Martin Routh at beginning and end of MS.

Sermons written in a clean, tiny, tidy hand on both sides of large folios. Formatted in double columns (593 in total) within red ruled lines. No pagination; instead, each column is numbered with a catchword at the end of the second column of each leaf (recto and verso). Titles are repeated as running heads on each leaf (recto and verso).

288 folios. There is pagination by Wallington, which starts on the ninth folio. Half-bound in calfskin with a paper pastedown and a Tatton Park bookplate.

Loose papers bound into a volume, 54 ff.

There is a note (perhaps in Avery's hand?) stating "I Suppose this Book was wrote by one Mr Clopton of Wratton who I imagine was a Steward of Sr Nathaniel Barnardiston of Kitton Hall [in Kedington] a Relation'". pp. 99-100 are missing, as is the beginning and end of the diary are missing. Some pages towards the end of the diary are mutilated.

A series of stitched pamphlets in several hands, many of which have extended corrections, deletions and emendations. Also included is an exercise book with logic exercises with a marbled cover.

A duodecimo vellum bound notebook, with the gutter at the top. Green silk ties. 110 ff. Written in a very neat, clear hand. On the cover is written "Mr Warren Sermons January the 28 1656". Sermons are written on only one side.

A series of loose leaf pamphlets, some folded and others stitched together. These notes are in a variety of sizes and hands. They have been sorted by an archivist who has provided some notes upon the scribes.

Written in a very small but neat and clear hand. A long think pocket book, 5 cm x 15 cm with the gutter at the top. Bound in vellum with the numeral "VI" inscribed on the cover.

A series of paper pamphlets of sermons and other notes in various hands. Three of the pamphlets are bound in fragments of medieval religious manuscripts, one in a mutilated inspeximus, and another in a Chelmsford deed dated 1478.

Bound with a copy of Goldsmith's Almanac for 1672. A small vellum bound volume (10 x 5cm). Inscribed with a numeral I.
