1 vol. 220ff. The following folios are blank: ff. 66, 113-115, 117-119, 129, 132, 166-167, and 180-182. Much of the text is inverted in relation to the modern pencil foliation. There is some rubrication in the text, including the first verse of Hosea in vocalised Hebrew on f.109r. Extensively damaged by damp, so that the text in many places is illegible. Rebound in boards ca.1820.

80 ff. Bound in a sheet of manuscript music. Written from both ends; the sermons appear in the material proceeding from the end. Severely damaged by water, making the text illegible at many points. Blank on ff. 21, 33-36, 49-50.

Folio format, bound in sheepskin. 286 ff. First 16 folios include a handmade index with red and black lettering and cut tabs, although the index has not been used, and instead accounts are recorded in this space. Ruled margins and headers. Pages have been foliated. The inside of the front board is inscribed "G. A. Farsyde Fylingdales nr Whitby Y[ks?] 1825 [altered to 1826]. These M.S. were found amongst the papers of my Uncle Watson Farsyde".

Bound in contemporary vellum. Reversed and inverted at f. 47.

Bound in tooled leather, 1 volume, 92 ff.; f. 73 onwards is inverted. Extensively damaged by damp. Damaged folios have been mounted.

94 ff. Bound into a leather tooled, small volume, with the spine marked "MSS. Nevile Sermons, Chevet, Yks 1700-1710". Possibly bound by Harry Bradfer-Lawrence (1887-1965). Generally written in a clear hand. Some sermons are written on only one side of the paper. Some water damage and pages mended with glue. The sermons seem to have been bound together from different sources as pages are slightly different sizes. f.1r is a handwritten title page in red and black ink.

1 volume, 558pp. Bound in blue moroccan leather; embossed in gold on the covers and with Anderson's name and "Brotherton Collection" on the spine. Pages are numbered. Clearly written in one neat hand. Every page has ruled margins. A few corrections, particularly in the prayers. Manuscript note on the inside front cover, written vertically, states, "these Sermons and Prayers wee written by Bh. Sanderson, the friend of Isaac Walton".

183 ff. Bound in calfskin. Written in a small, clear hand, mainly on one side of the page. On some facing pages, notes for further biblical references are included. A book plate states that the volume was a gift from Dr T. E. Harvey.

A manuscript notebook with five fragmentary leaves inserted. Written in a very small, neat hand. Ruled margins with biblical references are included.

1 volume, 211 ff., bound in leather with gilt tooling and ornamentation, including the initials AH. Considerable water damage; several pages have been mounted. Ff. 11-34, 62-78, 176-7, 181-4 have been left blank and some pages have been cut out. Written in Dean Higgin's hand.

1 volume, 121 ff. Rebound in boards around 1820. Modern pencil foliation. Mainly in Higgin's hand, with the Psalms 71-73 (f. 89) potentially in another hand.

1 volume, 179 ff. Rebound in boards ca. 1820. Some pages left blank: ff. 9-11, 26-31, 63-9, 71-86, 174-5. Some damp damage. Contemporary pagination towards the end of the volume.

1 volume (94 ff.) Some contemporary foliation. Written in one hand, in both directions. The inside cover has been inscribed "supposed of Dean [John] Wilkins". Bound in boards. Ff. 15-16 and 56-7 are blank.

1 volume, ff. 114. Some pages damaged by damp. The volume was rebound in boards in ca. 1820. F. 1 bears the inscription "Thomas Wirrall".

A cloth bound volume, 100 ff. with contemporary pagination. The funeral sermon is in a small, separately bound pamphlet that has been slipped inside the volume (32ff.). The bound volume all written in one very clear, neat hand. The separate pamphlet is written in another hand.

Octavo. 20th-century binding.

Bound in old calf. Duodecimo, unfoliated and unpaginated. There are chi-rho watermarks on the front flyleaf and the following leaf.

Twentieth-century binding. Octavo. The lettering on the spine reads as follows: 'STEPNEY MEETING: TWO SERMONS BY MATTHEW MEAD 1699'.

Parchment binding. Quarto.

Quarto. Calf binding, featuring the Inner Temple coat of arms on the front and back covers. There are gold gilt edges. The endpapers are marbled. There is a bookplate of the Inner Temple Library on the inside front cover of the volume.
