Paper, 154 pages, 7 3/8 x 6 1/4 inches. The foliation is unusual and inconsistent. While the Latin text is written going forward, the sermons proceed from the back with the manuscript upside-down, with the foliation beginning at f. 1r (rectos only). Beginning at f. 59, both rectos and versos are counted, though the sermons only use the rectos.

174 leaves. Bound in ruled calf. Morris uses a shorthand system and appears to explain it with charts indicating words, sentences, and Bible books each represented by one character.

160 leaves. Bound in ruled calf. The sermons are not written in shorthand, but each of them contains some shorthand elements. Proceeding from the end of the volume to f. 149, material has been added upside-down.

158 leaves. Bound in ruled calf. The number 2 is written at the top of the inside cover. The writing begins by proceeding only the rectos, then continues upside-down on the versos from end of the volume.

The Bible texts are quoted in Latin, but usually only the book and chapter are identified. The words "'Clement Chetsham. Clement Kent" are written on f. 311v in sixteenth-century handwriting. There is an elaborate manicule on f. 21v. Three leaves are cut out after f. 217r.
