The volume is written in one hand, presumably that of Samuel Jones. It is very small and some of the materials are written in reverse. The hand is clear and consistent throughout, and the paper is in good condition. The binding is modern.

The volume contains marks of ownership from the 18th century, including "Edd Pughe 1779," and "The Rev. Thos. Rowland (?) from John Jennings." The sermons are in three different 17th-century hands, all clear. The sermons in Welsh, primarily in one hand, are on unruled folios without margins, and run to the very edges of the cropped pages. Some of them are written in reverse.

The manuscript is fragile and is missing the front cover, but it is written in an exceptionally neat hand.

This is a quarto volume, in a NLW leather binding.

Some of the brief notes in Item 1 are not included because the text is difficult to construe and there is no other significant information available. Several such notes, identifiable as preached by Dr. [John] King, are otherwise incomprehensible. Another by a preacher from the Temple is similarly difficult to construe.

The volume is bound in leather. J. Griffiths has put his ownership signature on the fly-leaf.

The author's hand is clear and large. Some of the pages at the front and back of the manuscript are torn, and the leather binding is worn and scarred.

This is a collection of loose papers mounted on boards and collected among Nelson's papers and research materials for his biography of Dr. Bull. The sermons appear to be transcribed in the same hand.

The volume was repaired and bound by the National Library of Wales in 1960.

As Jones himself records, the sermons are "wrighten in Secritary hand." It is a neat, regular hand, with faintly ruled red margins on four sides and a characteristic decorative design.

The volume is bound in tooled calf. 252 pages.

The English sermons are written in the same elegant hand, with narrow ruled margins on the right and left. Calf binding, in need of repair. The manuscript is unfoliated and unpaginated.

The entire volume is written in the same large hand with ruled margins on three sides (not on the bottom).

The original calf binding is tattered and in very bad shape. The fly-leaf includes signatures of Roberts and several other names, as well as doodles, designs, and the date 1679. Most of the volume is in one hand. William Roberts's signature appears in virtually any available blank space.

The manuscript is sewn together, without covers or boards.

The calf binding is worn and tattered, but the boards are still attached. Many pages are blank and materials are written from both ends of the volume (i.e. some in reverse). Several names appear on fly-leaves and throughout the volume, including Seth Chapman.

The quarto volume is bound with full parchment and is still in very good condition. The pages are double-ruled on three sides with good margins used for scriptural references and headings. There are no margins at the bottoms. It is uncertain whether these sermons are in Bradbury's autograph. They appear to be scribal fair copies in a neat, large secretary hand.
