A folio leather-bound volume of 400 pages. Detached flyleaf gives an index of the sermon texts. Sermons are beautifully written out. Original pagination. Occasional very brief notations and tick marks in the margins.

Large leather-bound volume with repaired spine. Sermons written in a fair hand. Title page inscribed: “A Mirrour of Divine Merci Seet Forth in Fourteen Sermon[sic] on the XVth Chap: of Luke By That Reverend Divine Will. Bates. D.D Minister of St.Dunstanes in the West. D.D Minister of St.Dunstanes in the West. London.” Original pagination. Fair copies of sermons with ruled margins in which parts of the sermons are numbered. Sermons are undated and do not indicate where they were preached. Each sermon is headed with the number of the sermon and the text. Catchwords at bottom of pages. Probably scribal. Some pages are blank (p. 68, p. 174, p. 188). Leaves have been cut out at pp. 235-236, and at pp. 269-270.

Small oblong notebook bound in leather. On front flyleaf: “Sermons preached by the Reverend Ro: Horsburgh at Prestonpans.” A modern hand has added in pencil: “1702 Translat from Glenholm where he was ordained in 1696.” Unpaginated and unfoliated. The sermons are written neatly from both ides of the volume. Presumably preacher’s notes. Additional preachings have been noted in the headings.

Leather-bound oblong notebook with functioning clasp. The name “Robert Hunter” is on the front endpaper. Not foliated or paginated. Front flyleaf torn away.

Small leather-bound notebook. On front endpaper is written, “R. Jardine. Cumb. 25 Sept. 1714.” Identified as Vol 5 on the second leaf along with a list of the sermon texts included in the volume. Sermons are neatly written with occasional corrections. Foliated from both sides. Ff. 54-54 are blank. Written from both ends of the volume. From the reverse there is separate foliation with numbers on versos and another index of the texts on an unfoliated leaf at the beginning. On the remainder of this leaf has been written notes on a sermon dated 24 August 1721. The name Janet Renny appears on the flyleaf.

Oblong notebook bound in leather. The first leaf is cut off but identifies the sermons as having been preached at Scone Kirk. Sermons written neatly in a small hand. Original pagination at spine edge. After p. 289, the numbering skips back to 280, and again at the second 280. Then the pagination ends completely at 287. There is one sermon written in reverse without pagination.

Leather-bound volume with one functioning and one broken clasp. The sermon notes are neatly written.

278 pp. written by at least one anonymous hand. The headings of each sermon give the date, name of the minister and Bible verse. Three sermons are written in reverse at the end of the volume. A fully digitised version is available; see link below.

Octavo volume, leather binding, some gilding. Volume was bound later. Last section of volume also added later with flyleaves/stubs, includes references to "Old England," etc.

Quarto. The unnumbered preliminary and final pages are blank.

Octavo. Calf. Gold-tooled binding. The pages have gold gilt edges. The gold lettering on the spine reads as follows: 'A. B. Dolbin's M. S. Sermons'.

Bound in leather, with the front cover missing. Unpaginated and unfoliated. Written in both directions in a clear hand, potentially by two different scribes.

A series of individually bound pamphlets, without item numbers, containing 89 sermons. Many are paginated, but beginning from numbers other than 1, suggesting that they were once part of larger volumes. Written in a very small neat hand. Some pamphlets have extensive damp damage which makes them difficult to read. Within the pamphlets, different sections are highlighted and divided with drawn lines. The sermons seem to be in the preacher's hand, and either are fair copies or were used for preaching at a later date as a few have several dates of preaching.
